Key Responsibilities:

1. Setup and Operation

• Prepare machines for production by cleaning, calibrating, and loading raw materials as per specifications.
• Adjust machine settings (speed, feed rate, temperature) to ensure product quality and productivity.
• Operate and monitor machines throughout the production run.

2. Quality Control

• Conduct regular inspections to detect defects and maintain adherence to quality standards.
• Make adjustments to machine settings based on inspection results.
• Report quality issues promptly to the supervisor.

3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Perform daily maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, minor repairs) to prevent breakdowns.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues or escalate to maintenance personnel when necessary.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report any safety incidents or hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain production logs, including machine settings, output, and issues.
• Share production and quality data with supervisors regularly.

Required Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
• Strong attention to detail; ability to identify and correct defects
• Proficient in reading blueprints, operating manuals, and work instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
