Reliance is hiring for the role of Logistics Operations Officer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create a day-wise material movement plan based on the sales plan of the month
• Monitor the movements within agreed SLAs with Business and timely deliveries of orders
• Initiate and coordinate with concerned agencies for the smooth operation of Multimodal movement within minimum cycle time and timely delivery to the final destination
• Ensure vehicle placement planning is in line with material availability at the site
• Coordinate with site transportation in charge of resolving transporters' issues to minimize trailer detention
• Coordinate with Business & Regional Offices for detained vehicles
• Permit trans-shipments during scant availability of vehicles by ensuring control on freight of the trans-shipping point
• Optimize freight operations by exploring back freighting opportunities
• Ensure timely claim certification
• Decide load priorities to dedicated lanes
• Track product/destination specific dedicated vehicles to ensure regular flow for dispatches

Requirements:

• B.E. / B. Tech. / B.Com / M.Com + Specialized courses in Logistics
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
