Logistics Functional Specialist Job in Bangalore at Alstom

Alstom is hiring for the role of Logistics Functional Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensuring that the solutions for these business activities follow the defined core model.
• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Responding to our increased number of sites, which is a result of our accelerated deployment roadmap, we are looking for a SAPLE & WM specialist to integrate our team.
• Ensuring that the ERP logistics Core Model (Solution + processes & rules) is well documented, evolves consistently, and is not jeopardized by localization.
• Supporting ERP Roll-out (worldwide) and ensuring that the Core Model is applied.
• Ensuring IS landscape consistency logistics domain.
• Delivering ERP logistics Core Model evolution (Keeping as much standard as possible) in accordance with Métier strategy.
• Interacting with Operations teams (support) by monitoring and validating their activities & providing functional expertise when needed.
• Executing all the responsibilities above, you will be working with our external partners. In addition, you will be constantly liaising between partners and local businesses in order to drive the different projects successfully.
• Working not only with partners and businesses but also with other IS&T teams in other pillars.

Requirements:

• You are an action-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are a self-starter and a result-oriented person
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are a must because you will need to work autonomously in a worldwide & multicultural environment
• You should be agile to handle multiple tasks efficiently, keeping the big picture, and effectively delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment
• Language skills: English expertise is a must both spoken and written
• Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have more than 4 years of experience in SAP-ERP solutions
• A knowledge of SAP LE & WM & MM modules, and experience implementing these modules.
• Knowledge of the SD module and technical architecture will be appreciated
