Forvia Faurecia is hiring for the role of Logistic Leader!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and commit on PC&L Budget, as per Division/PPIC/Program PC&L strategy (inventories, transportation, packaging, shared service scope, etc.).
• Lead the logistics team and set PC&L objectives according to ownership/accountability for the PC&L team members.
• Ensure the strict respect of agreement with the program and maintain constant communication with to ensure full alignment on strategy and execution.
• Monitor, measure & control transportation costs, packaging costs, and inventories.
• Measure and communicate results in a transparent way.
• Ensure customer satisfaction: anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships, manage the launch of new programs within the PPIC, and supervise day-to-day activities.
• Monitor logistics processes: From Long-term planning set up to Day-to-day activities supervision:  prepare and propose the Sales and Operations Plan (PIC) to the PPIC management, ensure the responsibility of the Master Scheduling Plan (PDP) with pilot plant production team, improve & enhance performance and relationships of suppliers and logistics partners.
• Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other functions (Quality, HSE, Program).
• Ensure the day-to-day activities related to reception, allocation of parts to storage location, deliveries to the production line, withdrawal of finished goods from the production line, bookings, TPA preparation, and shipment.
• Define the storage requirements.
• Monitor visual management system: inventories, FIFO, etc. Ensure adequate production line supplies.
• Manage reusable packaging flows inside PPIC.
• Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, and handling utilization.
• Develop logistics, perform freight analysis, interface with carriers, and resolve carrier issues.
• Develop packaging requirements, and quotes, and resolve packaging issues.
• Ensure adherence to the department budget.
• Ensure adherence to FES, HSE, and logistics mandatory rules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any stream.
• Prior experience in a relevant field preferably in the automotive industries.
• Global exposure of managing logistics.
• Customer orientation/leadership / team spirit/autonomy / openness to new ideas.
• strong communication skills in English.

• Conflict management skills: ability to prevent and solve conflicts.
