Bajaj Auto Ltd. is hiring for the role of Lithium-ion Battery BMS Validation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Testing and Validation of Lithium-ion Battery BMS Hardware and Software.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-10 years
• Li-Ion Battery Domain knowhow a must
• Knowledge of different types of lithium-ion cells and chemistries
• Knowledge of Battery pack testing
• Develop and execute validation plans for BMS hardware and software components, including functional, performance, and safety testing
• Design and implement test cases and procedures to validate BMS functionalities such as cell balancing, SoX, Protection Algorithms, etc.
• Conduct system-level validation tests to verify the integration of BMS with battery packs and other vehicle or system components
• Experience in creating and maintaining Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for systems
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and CAPL for test automation and data analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to define validation requirements and ensure seamless integration of BMS within the overall system
• Perform data analysis and interpretation to assess BMS performance, identify issues, and propose design improvements
• Develop and maintain test scripts and automated test setups for efficient and repeatable validation processes
• Support the development of validation documentation, including test plans, test reports, and validation procedures
• Knowledge of Battery pack testing
• Knowledge of automotive systems, electrical circuits, and CAN communication protocols is a plus
