Bajaj Auto Limited is hiring for the role of Lithium-ion Battery BMS CS Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Designing and developing of Lithium-ion Battery BMS Algorithm

Requirements:

• B.Tech/M. Tech electrical/electronics
• Li-Ion battery domain knowhow a must
• Strong working knowledge of different tools for BMS design and simulation.
• Excellent in Control system development and integration using MATLAB/Simulink
• Excellent in Model-based design/Auto code generation
• Development of models in MATLAB and proving the feasibility of these models
• Implement automated testing tools to validate models through simulation and model-checking
• Ability to perform the review, resolve and debug the model design issues, and design challenges and ensure conformance of the model standard and guidelines
• Ability to make thermal calculations and simulations, interpretation of results and integration in design
• Knowledge of different types of lithium-ion cells and chemistries
• Algorithm development experience for BMS (SOC, SOH, SOE etc.)
• Algorithm concept development, design and implementation
• Algorithm tuning and calibration
• Data Analytics and analysis experience
• Knowledge of different theories and concepts like SOC estimation, temperature and power derating strategies
• Proficient in writing test scripts for testing tools such as Vector CAN tools
• Knowledge about DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis
• Knowledge about automotive industry standards and international standards of lithium-ion cells and packs
• Knowledge of BMS algorithms design
• Knowledge of functional safety standard ISO26262
• Knowledge of electrical vehicle, the interface of the battery on the vehicle, CAN protocol
