Forbes Advisor is hiring for the role of Lead Tracking Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and support the web analytics instrumentation architecture -  Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environment & processes.
• Consistently evaluate and revise environments where necessary to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and future-proofing including debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing configuration issues.
• Develop custom analytics JavaScript to create events and triggers in Google Tag Manager.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the tagging environment by continually monitoring tags, both manually and with automated tools.
• Build & deliver standardized and custom reports for business stakeholders.
• Partner with the analytics teams on measurement across customized site experiences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager with JavaScript (creating events & triggers) is required.
• Good Problem-solving skills - finding gaps in tracking and reporting side and highlighting, working with the team on enhancing the tagging solutions
• Good understanding of attribution modeling and user journey tracking setup & reporting
• Proficiency in HTML & JavaScript is a must.
• Experience in analyzing complex data sets for both planned and ad hoc analysis.
• Good understanding of GA4 property setup and reporting aspects
