Clarivate is hiring for the role of Lead Software Engineer - Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design database schema to meet new enhancement requirements.
• Optimize database performance.
• Develop appropriate corrective actions to resolve production data issues.
• Develop ETL strategies for integrating or migrating data from multiple sources.
• Develop simple and complex stored procedures, functions, and views to meet enhancement requirements.
• Provide best practice guidance to the development team regarding database design and usage.
• Provide technical support to operations and business application teams.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in any relational database such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar is a must.
• Knowledge of SQL Server integration solutions (SSIS) or other ETL tools to automate and schedule database-related jobs.
• Good experience in Microsoft .NET, Python, or any related language to automate and extract data.
• Good knowledge of writing APIs using Python or any related language.
• Experience with Git and working knowledge of AWS is a plus.
• Exposure to database modeling and data warehousing is a plus.
• Experience with horizontal scaling strategies using features such as partitioning, replication, and sharding.
