Mastercard is hiring for the role of Lead Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead and guide a team of software engineers through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Work with product owners and business stakeholders to understand and define requirements, and to develop and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing to ensure the quality of the code and the software solution as a whole.
• Deploy and maintain software solutions in production environments.
• Mentor and coach other software engineers on best practices in software development, design, and testing.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest software development technologies and trends.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy of the team and the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with designing and developing scalable and secure software solutions.
• Experience with code reviews and unit testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
