Hero is hiring for the role of Lead Mechanical Propreitary!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Reduce Warranty Claims & Cost of Mechanical Proprietary Parts
- Work on Mechanical Prop. Parts DFMEA and PFMEA Review & Quality upgrade
- Perform Initial Quality Check of New Models in Premium, Commuter & Scooter segments.
- Coordinate with stakeholders such as CIT, SQA, Manufacturing Quality, NMC and Quality Excellence for Issue analysis & closure, Leadership Reviews, Policy Deployment, Best Practices Deployment and much more.
Requirements:
- Experience in design and process Benchmarking (for both in-house products and competitor products
- In-depth Knowledge of Braking Systems, Suspension Systems, ABS, and Control Cables
- Problem-Solving through 8D, DFMEA/ PFMEA, FTA, QC Story Tools
- Knowhow of Vehicle & Parts validation testing for correlating standard spec and market condition.
- Hands-on knowledge of Vehicle & Engine Testing
- Strong interpersonal skills
