Adani Group is hiring for the role of Lead - Land Legal!
- Look after Commercial Transactions and O&M-related documentation, including Contract Management, review, drafting, and vetting of various agreements, bidding-related documents, due diligence, and transactional documentation.
- Able to look into PPA-related issues, working knowledge of Regulatory issues & litigations before the Electricity Regulatory Commissions, APTEL, and Supreme Court.
- Experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law.
- Give opinions and assist the business team in the resolution of legal issues.
- Draft of pleadings and Agreements. The candidate is expected to do all the drafting in-house.
- Interact with lawyers and enter into negotiations with parties for closing the transactions/agreements.
- Able to have out-of-the-box thinking for the resolution of legal issues and fast resolution/disposal of disputes/litigations.
- Take care of files and create a better system for internal management.
- Prepare Budgets with coordination with superior keeping track of billing.
- Update data on legal software “Roznama”.
- Research and keeping tabs on the latest case laws and also the policies and decisions of the government which will have an impact on the business of the Company.
- Travel within India and longer stays at places other than places of posting.
- Guard relevant compliances in the crucial agreements and bring them to the notice of superiors.
- Draft and File Petitions and pleadings.
Requirements of the Candidate:
- Law Graduate from a reputed Law Institute
- Documentation experience with desired area of expertise in Electricity laws, Contracts, Litigation
- Achieving the targets in compliance with the directions and expectations of the management
- Experience in M&A transactions would be an added qualification.
- Keep updated on the power sector
