Lead Engineer- System Engineering Internship in Vadodara at GE Vernova

GE Vernova is hiring for the role of Lead Engineer -System Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design drawings, technical specifications, and all documentation required for a Digital Control system project providing technical solutions according to the customer´s requirements, budget, and planning.
• Design and integrate computer systems, industry networks, electrical panels, and field facilities such as Ethernet/fiber switches, industrial application servers, data acquisition servers, historian data servers, and terminal servers. Experience with Hydroelectric Power plant automation.
• Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings in AutoCAD; Assist Industrial Ethernet/Fiber Network Design and Serial network communication (Modbus through RS-232, RS-485).
• Provide support on tendering activities, and development suppliers with supply chain support.
• Ensure the integration between all other products (generator, turbine, BoP, etc.) coordinating the necessary interface.

Requirements:

• Experience in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System Design.  Programming Logic Controllers (PLC), configuring and designing HMI.
• Experience in similar tools like ALSPA and Mark VIe Distributed Control System (DCS) will be highly preferred.
• SQL database inquiry scripting and maintenance; Industrial server software application installed, managed, and maintained.
• Experience and skill in troubleshooting control system issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese.
