Guardian is hiring for the role of Lead Engineer - IT!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand various project development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall and the overall SDLC process.
• Develop and implement procedures and functions for Microsoft SQL Server.
• Analyze and troubleshoot SSIS packages.
• Design quality database solutions by understanding complex data models.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL tools like SSIS.
• Interpret business requirements and implement corresponding solutions.
• Deploy SSIS packages using the appropriate methodology.
• Work with third-party vendor systems.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft software development framework and related environments.
• Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and higher.
• Proficient in query performance tuning and SQL Server features such as CTE.
• Experience with data analysis and research.
• Familiar with Object-Oriented concepts and Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with OO development in n-tiered Client/Server and Web environments.
• Programming experience in C# (.NET Core and Entity Framework).
• Familiar with XML, XSLT, ADO.NET, Tibco Topic/Queue.
• Working knowledge with REST APIs and AWS technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, bitbucket, SNS/SQS Queue, React, Redux, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, JQuery is a plus.
• Domain knowledge in broker/dealer and securities processing is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standard feeds like DTCC/DAZL/DST, and clearing firms like Pershing/Albridge is a plus.
