Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Lead component cost estimation activities to ensure accurate project budgeting and cost control
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and enhance supplier relationships
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to cross functional teams on supplier related matters
Requirements:
- Proficient in component cost estimation techniques and tools
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers
- Experience in supplier development & management practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building and maintaining supplier relationships
- Analytical mindset with the capability to assess cost data and make informed decisions
