Lead Consultant - Java Developer Job in Bangalore at Genpact

Genpact is hiring for the role of Lead Consultant - Java Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices for trade lifecycle, position lifecycle, and middle-office workflows.
• Build and optimize API integrations; design messaging and event-driven patterns.    
• Manage data layers using PostgreSQL for transactions and Snowflake for analytics.  
• Drive cloud-native operations on AWS with Kubernetes (EKS), Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Lead design discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor engineers for best practices.
• Strong background in financial services and capital markets, with expertise in trade and position lifecycle and middle-office activities like asset management reconciliation and accounting.

Requirements:

•  BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics, Operational Research, or a related technical field.
• Core Java skills and API/services integration experience.
• Expertise web services including REST, SOAP, and Spring Web Services.
• Frameworks such as Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Apache Camel.
• Cloud framework experience with AWS and Docker-Kubernetes.
• ORM tools such as Hibernate and JPA
• Messaging framework proficiency in Kafka and Java Message Queue (JMS).
• Git, CI/CD, Blue-Green Deployments
• Okta / OAuth 2
• Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL
• AWS Cloud (general platform familiarity) 
• Experience with s3.
• Snowflake data warehouse experience is a nice-to-have but not required
• Ability to build constructive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Good aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Desire to understand and work with data
• Desire to design and develop solutions for asset management operations
