Larsen & Toubro is hiring for the role of Lead Buyer - E&I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Negotiate successfully with vendors, clients, and contractors through the engineering, Procurement, and construction phases of the project.
• Support Category Manager in conducting negotiations with suppliers and liaising with suppliers during the procurement cycle.

Requirements:

• B.TECH/B.E
• Preferably should have working experience in Oil & Gas Industry (EPC)
• Possesses strong techno-commercial knowledge on procurement of either Electrical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunication items.
• Well-versed with different types of Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) 
• Preferred to have good knowledge of the Vendor Database of ONGC and/or Saudi Aramco for EIT items.
• Good written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
• Possesses strong project execution & estimation skills.
•  Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous approach. 
• Mature, proactive, resourceful, hands-on with good initiatives and ability to leverage organizational resources
• Able to work fast under pressure and willing to make tough decisions.
• Computer literate and able to work in an SAP environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
