Colt Technology Services is hiring for the role of Lead Analyst - TLC Accounting!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Ensure that actual financial results relating to Labour costs are complete, accurate, timely, consistent, and in full compliance each month with Colt policy.
- Identify P&L trends and point out any one-offs.
- Prepare detailed commentary and monthly business reporting.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
- Make recommendations concerning financial and operational results, problems, issues, trends, etc.
- Ensure consistency and validity of all management and financial reporting produced by the FSSC
- Understand and resolve accounting issues and inconsistencies.
- Review accounting processes and systems in light of business requirements and identify necessary changes to control the risks and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all out processes are controlled and checked on a timely basis from a Statutory Audit perspective.
- Support activities and projects with the TLC team.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, creativity, enjoy problem-solving both independently and in team settings and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and is on “top of the numbers”.
- Preferably CA / ICWA/ MBA Finance/ MCom
- 2-3 years of experience
- Strong ability to communicate at all levels.
- Proven ability to work with minimal direction.
- Identifies and proactively pursues opportunities for improvement.
- Confident in dealing with conflict fairly and decisively.
- Relevant financial experience in an international and/or complex environment, with a proven broad knowledge of financial practices and procedures
- Proven ability to achieve results and improvements to business processes, working with and through different teams across an organization
- Proven track record of working well within teams and interacting with senior management
- Experience of working and liaising with shared and virtual teams
- Experience working with SAP ERP / Oracle 11i / Other key ERPs
- Experience in handling similar roles in an MNC environment.
- Experience of working in a busy, demanding environment
- Possess a consistent and systematic approach to tackling problems
- Logical thinker
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in dealing with all levels of an organization.
- High level of personal credibility
- Analytical, with the ability to see the bigger picture
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
