Layout Design Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Synopsys

Synopsys is hiring for the role of Layout Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and development of transistor-level analog and mixed-signal layout.
• Device/block level floorplan, placement, routing, and physical verification.
• Troubleshoot Physical verification issues to get clean and desired results.
• In charge of creating and reviewing layout documents to ensure they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a bachelor's or master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit Layout.
• Experience in Analog Layout Flow from Device placement till GDS release.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics, and analog circuits (diff amp, current mirrors, regulators)
• Good knowledge of CMOS, and FINFET technologies.
• Knowledge of CMOS Fabrication technology, deep sub-micron effects, and its impact on layout.
• Knowledge of EMIR, ESD, LUP, Cross talk, Shielding, and its impact on design.
• Hands-on knowledge of EDA tools for Custom Mixed signal layout flows.
• Passionate to learn and explore new layout techniques.
• Must be self-directed, and detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and communication skills.
• Experience in Tcl is a plus
