Knowledge Analyst Job in Chennai at McKinsey and Company

McKinsey is hiring for the role of Knowledge Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide support to CSTs delivering key insights on content-focused questions (spend analysis, TCO/ clean sheet costing, contract analysis, supplier identification, saving idea/lever identification, sourcing strategy, development, RFQ management and analysis, negotiation strategy development and tracking mechanism development)
• Support client proposals and other client development activities and bring relevant knowledge and capabilities to clients
• Require extensive travel to client locations for >70% of the time within or outside India.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology; Master's degree preferred with MBA from a reputed B-School with specialization preferably in Operations will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of purchasing, sourcing, supplier identification and management, vendor development, costing, etc.
• 3+ years of relevant industry/consulting experience in procurement
• Solid problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
• Basic understanding of research techniques, information sources, and statistical analysis/analytic techniques relevant to purchasing and operations
• Strong interpersonal skills, good team player
