Varian is hiring for the role of Key Accounts Leader - Field Service - Customer Support!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Must have full access to VMS client sites to perform essential job functions.
  • Many VMS clients require employees to meet "Vendor Credentialing" requirements before being granted site access.
  • Position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements, unless prohibited by law, to have full client access and must continue to meet these requirements throughout employment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all designated VMS equipment within an assigned service territory, including performing preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades per VMS guidelines.
  • Manage time efficiently and maintain a schedule to include preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and incoming customer calls, assessing and prioritizing customer requests accordingly and following through to completion.
  • Recognize when to escalate incidents or request additional assistance from more experienced representatives as necessary.
  • Handle difficult customer issues by diagnosing, resolving problems, and meeting established FSR levels.
  • Maintain effective territory management and expense control, ensuring timely completion and submission of service and expense reports, as well as managing consignment and other required documentation according to VMS procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge and professional technical experience with micro-computers/PC-based systems.
  • Proficient in computer usage and debugging skills.
  • Ability to identify and repair complex software and delivery system network issues.
  • Capable of diagnosing and resolving imaging system defects and may assist in system relocations.
  • Highly skilled at diagnosing and solving complex mechanical problems, including simple vacuum leaks.
  • Competent in performing vacuum system gun replacements and target replacements.
  • Maintain certification status for C3 products and achieve certification for TrueBeam systems.
  • Proficient in advanced modalities of Varian product lines within assigned geography.
