Nuventure Connect is hiring for the role of Junior Test Engineer (QA)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute Test Cases: Work with existing test plans and test cases, meticulously executing them to identify potential issues in our web and mobile applications.
• Manual Testing: Learn and perform thorough manual testing on web and mobile devices to uncover usability issues, functional errors, and areas for improvement.
• Defect Reporting: Clearly document and report defects found during testing, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Learn Automation: Begin your journey into automated testing under the mentorship of senior QA engineers. Learn automation tools and techniques to enhance our testing efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with developers and other QA team members to understand requirements, clarify test scenarios, and ensure effective communication about quality.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably testing web and mobile applications
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques for web and mobile
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and report software defects clearly and concisely
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings
• Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of QA and test automation
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to uncover even the smallest issues
• Experience with any test automation tool (even if basic)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
