Junior Test Engineer Job in Cochin at Netstratum Technologies

Netstratum is hiring for the role of Junior Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand product requirements and assist in preparing test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual testing on web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Identify and document bugs using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with the development and QA teams to validate fixes and ensure product quality.
• Support various types of testing including functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Follow best practices and established QA processes under the guidance of senior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Sound understanding of manual testing concepts, bug life cycle, and SDLC/STLC.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira or Bugzilla is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
• A proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
