Junior Specialist (Pharma & Biotech) Job in Delhi at Invest India

Invest India is hiring for the role of Junior Specialist Pharma & Biotech!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Be a strong team member and support the team under the leadership of the Team Lead to engage with multiple stakeholders including Ministries/Departments, State Governments, Quasi-Government Agencies, Industry Associations, PSUs, Investors, and Private Promoters/Investors.
• Support policy development for the objectives highlighted above by examining issues pertaining to the sector and deliberating with government stakeholders and industry associations.
• Assist the team in coordinating with stakeholders for organizing discussions, workshops, roadshows & events.
• Design and collate high-impact presentations for new and existing programs
• Liaise with international standards bodies/think tanks, hospitals & diagnostic chains, and sovereign wealth funds to deliberate on best practices.
• Support team in preparation of high-quality research, reports, DPRs, and briefing notes required for specific projects.
• Lead exercise related to the quarterly/monthly deliverables of PDCs and PMU to the Ministry.                         

Requirements: 

• 0-2 years of work experience at a consulting firm / developmental agency/ investment bank/investment promotion agency / well-known global or domestic corporate, in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology or allied sectors.
• Any internship/project experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space is an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing DPR’s, policy briefs, policy analysis, and research reports.
• Ability to work in teams and take ownership of the task at hand.
• Strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
• Excellent communication, people and analytical skills.
• Ability to work amid strict deadlines and on multiple projects.
