Junior Software Engineer Job in Pune at Cornerstone

Cornerstone is hiring for the role of Junior Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with the software development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using, Angular, Java, Spring and Oracle.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
• Work on front-end and back-end development tasks, with a focus on enhancing user experiences and system performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features.
• Conduct research and provide recommendations on new technologies and tools that can improve development processes.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Attend regular team meetings and contribute to project planning and progress discussions.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Angular, Java,Spring and Oracle.
• Understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Data Science, AI/ML Concepts is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with a passion for learning and technology.
• Should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of data structure and algorithms.
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
