Media.Monks is hiring for the role of Junior Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java, Python, and SQL/No-SQL.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Gain experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• Recent college graduate or fresher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end software projects using Java, SQL/No-SQL, and Python
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, etc.
• Sound understanding of REST APIs and Open API Specification
• Familiarity with the OAuth 2.0 framework and its implementation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team player
• Experience with automation tools and techniques like Jenkins for CI/CD
• Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including the use of Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and Git for code repository management
• Demonstrated experience in significant college projects related to the job role
• Implementation of a project with RDBM/No SQL and any of the languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Development and deployment of an application on a cloud platform
• Implementation of OAuth 2.0 framework in a project setting
