Junior QA Engineer Job in Bengaluru at DataArt

DataArt is hiring for the role of Junior QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

•  Review and analyze project requirements and technical specifications
• Design and execute manual test cases for web and API testing
• Document test cases, test results, and identified defects
• Assist in setting up and maintaining automation scripts under guidance
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to QA-related discussions
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Learn and apply QA best practices and testing standards

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs
• Experience with UI and API automation testing
• Basic experience or strong interest in automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Postman, etc.)
• Understanding of key QA concepts, including test planning, execution, and bug tracking
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Basic SQL skills for validating data
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
• Good communication skills and Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate English.
