Junior Node.js Developer Job at Vanilla Networks

Vanilla Networks is hiring for the role of Junior Node.js Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Building cutting edge applications using Node.js
• Coding in PHP and/or Python to build modern web apps
• Harnessing additional back-end frameworks additional back-end frameworks like Laravel and Express
• Using front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js and jQuery
• Working with a range of data technologies including SQL, NoSQL (eg: MongoDB), data streams, in-cache data storage systems like Redis, Apache Ignite and the recently released Apache Arrow.
• Working in Linux and cloud environments
• Use Docker, Git and other relevant tools.

Requirements:

• 0- 1 year of relevant coding experience in Node.js
• Strong knowledge with JavaScript, Typescript etc
• Experience with RESTful API, Webpack and JSON
• Exposure in React, Vue.js, Gatsby, GraphQL desirable
• PHP and/or Python experience or willingness to learn these important languages
• The ability to learn quickly – there is always so much to learn
• A love of learning and a commitment to build your skills long-term
• A reliable nature with a helpful "can do" attitude
• Honour and integrity
• Good written English and eagerness to deliver high quality service to clients.
• A computer running Windows 10, Linux or MacOS and reliable Internet access.
