Jio is hiring for the role of Junior Engineer Tech Operations!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Monitor and maintain the health of servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems and environments.
- Deploy and configure software applications with guidance from senior engineers.
- Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with teams to deploy and operate new technologies and systems.
- Support during maintenance windows and respond promptly to incidents.
- Document operational processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Support automation efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 critical system support.
Requirements:
- Understand basic IT infrastructure and operations.
- Use scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Know networking protocols and technologies.
- Familiarize with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Apply understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Understand Linux or Unix systems administration and networking.
- Show eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- B.Tech / B.E (CS, IT, ECE preferable)
- 2 - 6 years
