Cornerstone is hiring for the role of Junior Engineer - Quality!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Test Automation Development: Assist in designing, coding, and implementing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing where necessary to understand the product and test scenarios, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Test Case Design: Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand requirements and design effective test cases.
• Test Execution: Execute automated and manual test cases, report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, automation scripts, and testing procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing and automation and contribute to their implementation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements: 

• Education: Recently graduated with a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar
  • Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, types, and processes
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Passion for Quality: A keen interest in software quality assurance and automation
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Basic understanding of database systems and SQL
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices
