Sansera is hiring for the role of Junior Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and create packaging for Sansera Engineering's products:
  • Collaborate with the product development team to understand the technical specifications of each product.
  • Responsible for conceptualizing and designing packaging solutions that protect the products during shipment while ensuring optimum space utilization.
  • Create visually appealing designs that align with our brand identity. including selecting appropriate colours, typography, and graphics.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations:
  • Stay updated with the latest packaging trends and industry requirements to develop innovative and functional packaging designs.
  • Ensure packaging materials and designs adhere to relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure packaging designs align with brand guidelines and effectively convey the desired message to our target audience.
  • Partner with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure packaging designs are practical and feasible for production.
• Conduct regular quality checks:
  • Maintain quality control throughout the packaging production process.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to ensure packaging designs are consistent and meet both branding and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address any quality issues and improve packaging materials and processes.
• Manage packaging projects and timelines:
  • Develop project plans and timelines for packaging design, production, and delivery.
  • Monitor progress, anticipate potential delays, and proactively resolve any issues to ensure timely completion of packaging projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or a related field.
• Proven experience (1 year) as a packaging designer, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in design software such as Autocad & 3D.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and printing technologies.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to translate technical specifications into creative packaging designs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to evolving trends and industry standards, and a passion for staying up-to-date with design advancements.
