Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited is hiring for the role of Trainee Engineer/Jr. Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist senior engineers in the maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential maintenance issues.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Implement preventive maintenance procedures to extend the lifespan of plant assets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns, ensuring timely restoration of operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and cost-saving measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant industrial experience
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, machine operation, and maintenance practices
• Familiarity with FMCG, sugar, or process industry equipment and processes is essential
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing corrective actions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior engineers, production teams, and external vendors
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive reports
