WEIR is hiring for the role of  Junior Data Scientist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform data collection, cleaning, processing, and analysis using various tools and techniques.
• Apply statistical and machine learning methods to extract insights and generate reports and dashboards.
• Develop, test, and deploy data solutions and applications using Python, SQL, and other programming languages.
• Communicate and present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
• Research and learn new data technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher degree in Computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and other programming languages for data analysis and manipulation.
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiar with common data science libraries, such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch, etc.
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and curiosity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
