Danaher is hiring for the role of Junior Data Scientist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help optimize supply chain operations.
• Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data to make it suitable for analysis, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Assist in building and applying statistical models to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and other supply chain functions.
• Create clear and insightful data visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists to develop and apply predictive models for supply chain performance and demand forecasting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or Master’s degree with strong academic record in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong mathematics
• Basic proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Leveraging of libraries like NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras for data manipulation and model development.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Power BI, Tableau), as well as data warehousing and ETL processes (e.g. SQL, Informatica, Spark, Talend)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
