Boston Consulting Group is hiring for the role of Junior Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Deliver original analysis and insights to case teams, typically owning all or part of an analytics module whilst integrating with a case team.
• Establish credibility by thought partnering with case teams on analytics topics and drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues related to your module.
• Communicate analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results (including PPT slides and charts) with consultants, collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing case team learning & inputs into new best practices and methodologies.
• Develop broad expertise in at least one analytics topic or platform.
• Execute analytical approach and creating defined outcomes, contributing to approach selection.
• Communicate with confidence and ease.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to deliver messages in a concise manner with strong and effective written and verbal communication.
• Think analytically with strong analytics skills, the ability to develop and codify knowledge, and provide analytical advice where required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science engineering/technology.
• Analytical reasoning, strong problem-solving involving mathematical programming and data problems, and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand requirements and proactively propose analytical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of advanced Excel and VBA.
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Alteryx working knowledge.
• Preferred experience with programming languages and tools (Python or SQL).
• Understanding of ETL processes.
