Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serve HFM consolidation reporting system in a junior administrator role as well as become a SME for GVR and its subsidiaries.
• Support intercompany reconciliation processes in a multi-national, multi-currency environment.
• Assist in reporting financial results to the parent company on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as well as budget and periodic forecasts.
• Assist Global Controllership team in the deployment of technical accounting guidance and interpretation to all subsidiaries.
• Assist in the preparation of reporting packages, as required, to comply with corporate financial reporting requirements and statutory regulations.
• Assist in month-end closing through preparation and processing of journal entries as necessary at a Global level;
• Participate in daily management and support tracking and management of metrics that ensure financial reporting deadlines and reporting accuracy targets are met while seeking opportunities for improvement both internally and for our sites globally by identifying and resolving root cause

Requirements:

• Experience in the accounting consolidation process and familiarity with systems such as HFM, OneStream, or Blackline is a plus
• System administration experience, including disciplined user provisioning and change management practices
• Tech-savvy with the ability to adopt new software tools and collaborate effectively with IT team members
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong understanding of balance sheet accounts and their relationship to the P&L and underlying business activities
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with US GAAP or IFRS standards
• Proven knowledge of accounting theory and accounting systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the company, including non-accounting functions
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively within a team environment
• Comfortable working with external auditors, interpreting requests, and delivering audit-related materials effectively
• Demonstrated leadership potential and motivation to grow professionally through challenging assignments
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; qualified accountant is a plus
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in a multinational organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Flexible and adaptable to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
