Junior AI Engineer Job in Gurgaon at Amlgo Labs

Amlgo Labs is hiring for the role of Junior AI Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face Transformers) to develop, fine-tune, and integrate models into products.
• Design and test prompts for various tasks (prompt engineering) to improve model outputs.
• Support development and deployment of generative AI applications (text, code, or image generation).
• Write Python code to build ML/AI pipelines, evaluate model performance, and preprocess data.
• Collaborate with data engineers to prepare and manage datasets used for training and evaluation.
• Monitor and test model performance in production environments.
• Document technical work, including models, experiments, and results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of industry experience in AI/ML, or a strong academic or project portfolio.
• Proficient in Python and libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib.
• Basic understanding of machine learning workflows and model evaluation.
• Exposure to LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral) through personal or academic projects.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers or OpenAI API is a plus.
• Basic understanding of data engineering concepts such as ETL, data cleaning, and pipeline orchestration.
