iCubes is hiring for the role of Jr. Quality Assurance Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and user expectations.
• Assist in creating and executing test cases based on project specifications.
• Perform manual testing to identify bugs, issues, and inconsistencies to ensure they meet the requirements of the product owner and end-users.
• Verify bug fixes and perform retesting to ensure resolution.
• Generating accurate and detailed defect reports when bugs are identified during testing, and tracking the resolution of these defects.
• Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development life cycle to ensure quality is maintained throughout.
• Assisting in the development of automated tests and tools to streamline the testing process.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of the testing process and results.
• Participate in team meetings, provide test updates, and collaborate to resolve testing-related challenges. 
• Learn and grow through feedback, mentorship, and training.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work well in a team and to collaborate with others.
• Basic knowledge of testing tools and methodologies.
• Basic programming knowledge and experience.
• Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
