Jr. Legal Counsel Job in Nashik at Winjit Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Review & Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining standard commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor and customer contracts, and service agreements.
• Compliance & Governance: Support the legal team in monitoring compliance with internal policies and applicable laws, help draft and adjust policies from time to time.
• Intellectual Property: Assist in tracking trademarks, IP filings, and coordinating with internal and external IP counsels as needed.
• Data Privacy: Review basic data protection clauses in contracts and support privacy-related documentation and practices, collaborate with internal and external data privacy specialists and coordinate work with Data Protection Officers.
• Labour Laws & HR Support: Coordinate with HR to ensure compliance with basic employment law requirements and support drafting of employment-related documents.
• Real Estate Documentation: Assist in reviewing lease and rental agreements and maintaining related legal records.
• Legal Research, & Administration & Reporting: Conduct research on regulatory developments, maintain legal databases, and assist with organizing legal documentation and reporting.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to support day-to- day legal queries and documentation needs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) is required.
• Around 2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate or mixed (law firm + in-house) environment.
• Basic understanding of corporate and commercial law, company secretarial, with interest or exposure in IP, compliance, or data protection being a plus.
• Willingness to learn and handle matters involving international subsidiaries and cross-border legal principles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently with guidance, and manage timelines effectively.
