Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage and maintain Linux servers, including Data Center (DC) configurations with load balancers.
• Administer Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure and manage shared homes using NFS/DFS for efficient data storage and access.
• Install, upgrade, and test Atlassian applications, ensuring compatibility and performance.Implement and maintain monitoring systems like Java Melody, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and InfluxDB.
• Develop bash scripts for automated monitoring and alerts.
• Proactively monitor Jira infrastructure to identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
• Respond to alerts promptly, diagnose root causes, and implement workarounds and long-term solutions.Provide technical support for Jira infrastructure and administration.
• Collaborate to enhance Jira performance and capabilities.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery plans/protocols.
  Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and incidents for management review.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Java Melody, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus.
• Ability to write and maintain bash scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Responsiveness and responsibility in managing critical infrastructure and addressing issues.
