JP Morgan is hiring for the role of Java Software Engineer III!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Work in Enterprise Java toolset including public/private cloud
• Work on in-house Toolkits, Frameworks, and Libraries with the intent to get them patented
• Innovate and maintain reusable solutions that work in a concurrent distributed environment
• Work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Work on software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Lead and own all aspects of the data analytics: requirement analysis and design, solution build and testing, co-ordination with Technology and Operations colleagues, defect/risk management and reporting/release management
• Collaborate and bridge the gap between both business and technical teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of applied and professional work experience
• Hands-on experience of backend services using Java; including but not limited to:  Concurrency & Multi-threading, I/O, Streams, JDBC, JMS and REST. Candidate should have firm understanding and experience of Spring framework; including but not limited to: Core, SPEL, AOP, Security, Data-JPA, Transaction and MVC
• Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Design Patterns and should be able to apply it during design and development
• Hands-on on developing Micro-services and very strong with relational databases and SQLs
• Unit / Integration testing experience. Experience working in cloud-based framework
• Understanding of Kubernetes/AWS/Cloud. Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
