Iris Software, Inc. is hiring for the role of Java - Senior Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Independently resolve technical issues, perform task break down and estimation for self and assist team members to perform the same.
• High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverables
• Should be interact with client stakeholders to probe a technical problem or clarify requirement specifications
• Provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
• Work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
• Participate and assist in technical training and development of other staff members.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and hands on experience on Java 17 and above, Jenkins and Devops will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Algorithm and Data Structure
• Strong knowledge of Design patterns and functional programming
• Strong knowledge of Multithreading.
• Excellent hand on experience on Java Frameworks -Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate & Microservices.
• Experience of Java RESTful web services development.
• Expertise in design patterns and functional programming
• Exposure to Git, maven, Database, sonar and JIRA.
• Experience of Unix tools and shell scripting
• Development tools (Maven, Intellij, Eclipse, STS)
• Well versed in development methodologies and the enabling tools and technologies (JUnit, RLM, CI/CD etc.)
• Knowledge of deployment in Web / Application Server WebLogic / WebSphere / Tomcat
• Experience in working environment using agile methodologies
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle
• Experience with modern source code management approaches
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work in continuous integration setup
• Demonstrates good analysis, collaboration, and problem solving
• Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
• Quick learner, innovative, proactive, flexible, and adaptable
• Short term travel-ready and travel-willingness
