Candela Technologies is hiring for the role of Java Programmer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Our desktop software generates test scenarios and reports for network testing. It is Java based, and new tests, testing scenarios, and reports are always being asked for.
• Designing and Implementing Java Applications: Java developers translate business needs and user requirements into functional software systems. This includes designing the architecture, data models, and APIs of the application. 
• Writing Code: A core responsibility is writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code. This includes adhering to best practices and utilizing object-oriented programming principles. 
• Testing and Debugging: Java developers are responsible for testing the software they develop to ensure it meets the requirements and functions correctly. This includes writing unit tests, integration tests, and potentially performance tests. 
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: They identify, diagnose, and resolve issues that may arise during the development process or in production. 
• Collaborating with Others: Java developers work closely with other members of the development team, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers. They also need to communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients. 
• Maintaining and Updating Applications: Java developers are responsible for maintaining and updating existing applications, ensuring they remain functional, secure, and performant. This may involve patching vulnerabilities, adding new features, or improving existing functionality. 
• Using Java Frameworks and Tools: Java developers often use various frameworks and tools, such as Spring, Hibernate, and testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG. 
• Deploying Applications: Java developers may be involved in deploying applications to various environments, including cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
