Java Developer - FTE/Contract Job in Thane at Winjit Technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and optimize queries for performance.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Deliver tasks and modules within defined timelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for projects and features.
• Provide regular updates on project status to the team lead or manager.

Qualification & Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above).
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
• Proficient in working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrent programming.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular, React) for full-stack development.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
