Java Developer - Backend Job in Pune at Hitachi

Hitachi is hiring for the role of Java Developer - Backend!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and support Java-based, high-performance applications.
• Review and implement business requirements with Business Analysts.
• Develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Participate in development, unit testing, and debugging activities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Contribute to all stages of the SDLC.
• Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with Spring frameworks, OOP concepts, and integration tools.
• Use build tools like Maven/Jenkins and web services (SOAP/REST).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java / Java 17 for backend development
• Proficiency in Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Experience in building and maintaining Microservices-based architectures
• Practical experience working with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Exposure to ElasticSearch for search or indexing needs
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools)
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
