Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and secure services to serve various front-end applications.
• Willingness to work in highly agile environment / startup setup.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements and skills:

• Hand on experience with REST APIs Hand on experience with Spring / Spring boot Good understanding of Java (8 and above is a plus).
• Good understanding of MySQL or similar relational database, Git/Github.
•  Knowledge of Activemq or similar message brokers.
•  Knowledge of Spring Quartz or similar batch processing frameworks.
• Nice to have: Hands on experience with AWS EC2 and RDS.
• Hands on experience with Linux distributions like ubuntu, centos Understanding of unit testing and integration testing.
•  Knowledge of JWT authentication Knowledge of Websockets.
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate), Spring Framework
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
