IT Support Engineer Job in Gurgaon at NK Securities Research

NK Securities Research is hiring for the role of IT Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide remote hands assistance for IT equipment in data centers (e.g., rebooting servers, checking cables, configuring network settings, providing console, kvm or anydesk).
• Help with basic hardware installations (racking servers, replacing hard drives, managing cables).
• Assist senior engineers with troubleshooting network and power issues.
• Perform equipment checks and report any malfunctions.
• Follow step-by-step guides to configure, test, and maintain devices.
• Keep accurate records of work done in ticketing systems.
• Ensure proper safety and security procedures are followed in data centers.
• Monitor Data Centre Health using graphana/prometheus/in-house tools

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, cabling, or IT support.
• Comfortable working with servers, routers, and cables (no prior experience required, but a plus).
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and ask questions when unsure.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Basic familiarity with Windows/Linux (helpful but not required).
