State Street is hiring for the role of IT End User Engineer - Senior Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Creates designs, integrates, and oversees the implementation of the desktop infrastructure.
• Maintains quality assurance and support of service documentation.
• Develops strategic recommendations and long-term plans for management.
• Assumes the role of subject matter expert of on-premise and cloud-based end-user platforms.
• Evaluate and stress test new technology while assessing fit for feasibility studies.
• Influences senior leaders at all levels of business and IT staff on all areas of technology, including policies, standards, strategies, and governance.
• Ensures departmental alignment to infrastructure/architectural standards and strategy.
• Brings an IT infrastructure and integration perspective to all technology initiatives and ensures all program and project activities adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
• Builds consensus through partnerships with current and potential vendors, IT executives, and business partners; develops relationships that promote trust and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Acts as an escalation point to diagnosis problems that cannot be resolved by the End User Support team.
• Maintains resiliency and business continuity plans for the associated infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Global trend awareness and propensity to learn regional and local laws & regulations to form and evolve a cohesive digital identity strategy.
• Experience in regulated industries and maintaining corporate technology compliance.
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work with global teams in various time zones.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a complex end user environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Industry-related certifications is a plus.
