Molex is hiring for the role of IT Asset Management Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Define and prioritize the CMDB roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the CMDB meets their needs.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the CMDB.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB, with defined success measures.
• Collaborate and partner with the KGS ITAM team to ensure consistency and automation.
• Develop and deliver training and documentation for CMDB users.
• Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Conduct regular CMDB audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
• Work with procurement and finance teams to manage asset forecasts and optimize asset utilization.
• Conduct licensing true up activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT asset management and CMDB administration.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles.
• Proficiency with asset management and CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
