Eastman is hiring for the role of IT Applications Support Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support Global IT organizations in
• Creation, scheduling, and processing of batch jobs
• Monthly and Annual Financial Closing Process
• Follow documented processes for failed backups
• Monitor restarted jobs for completion
• Restart jobs
• Communication and coordination with other groups
• Establish and maintain communication on service disruptions and problems
• Address concerns, escalations, and resolutions
• Work with support analysts to assist, identify, and implement procedures and processes
• Ensure adherence to check sheets and proper completion of spreadsheets
• Coordinate scheduling and performing preventative maintenance with others.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering
• Experience: Fresher
• Proficient use of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Good communication skills, quick learning ability, interested in working in a support function.
• Strong interpersonal skills with appropriate professional, courteous, and respectful communication.
• Effective and proactive communication on issues, status, etc.
• Able to follow documented processes.
• Proficient in learning and using software for managing and monitoring corporate batch job processing environments (e.g., UC4 software).
• Utilize analytical skills for diagnosing, resolving, and minimizing job processing problems.
• Monitor and perform first-line troubleshooting support based on training and provided documentation.
• Collaborate with other Global IT resources to ensure proper handling of UC4 and SAP functions.
• Able to work a 12-hour shift schedule; willing to work limited overtime as needed (12 Hrs. shifts per day, 4 days work, 4 days OFF).
• Adhere to site and department safety requirements.
• Assume the proper level of ownership of problems and opportunities and follow through to resolution.
• Follow Company and Site Dependability Guidelines.
• Candidate must be in Hyderabad; no work from home due to the nature of the job.
