Payatu Technologies is hiring for the role of IOT Hardware Security Researcher!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Conduct hardware and radio attacks on existing IoT products to identify vulnerabilities.
• Design and build custom circuits for advanced hardware attacks.
• Stay current with the latest tools and techniques in hardware security through continuous research and learning.
• Share research findings and attack methodologies with the broader community.
• Effectively communicate results verbally and in writing, both internally and externally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of embedded and hardware security.
• Hands-on experience with hardware attacks (PCB analysis, side-channel attacks, memory extraction).
• Deep understanding of embedded protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, SWD) and potential attacks.
• Experience with radio protocol attacks (BLE, WIFI, LoRa, DSP, SDR).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines effectively.
• Proven passion for attacking hardware and a history of published research or presentations.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferred).
